Kris Allred has been needle felting for less than a year. Her very first pieces were so well done it was as if this fiber art was made for her. She began making miniature teddy bears, some as small as 2 inches high, but this fellow is a grande size.
The dragon is 19" long, 9" tall at the back, and 14" tall at the top of the tail. The color work on his body is the Mystery Roving , a fine grade wool blend that may have Alpaca, Llama or Mohair in it. She will be doing a demonstration soon for the South Haven, Michigan schools furthering the education of this fiber art. Thank you Kris for letting me share your work.
