Last week a few days had temperatures in the 40's. There typically is a January thaw which lets the snow melt down but these temps were atypical and quickly spoiled us (the cats and I). When the snow and cold returned, I tried to ignore it by concentrating on anything else but the weather.
Then this morning, there was a brief break in the grey cloudy sky and I felt like I was being smiled on with a promise of the blue sky days that will come - in time.
